Royal Rumble 2015: John Cena vs. Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar

John Cena and Seth Rollins. It was a cacophony of noise in the arena, as loud as it could possibly be, due to the frenzied desperation of the fans to see "giants" that they had waited months for.

The Build-Up

The build-up to the event was a nail-biting tale of grudge matches, accompanied by dramatic tales which held the WWE's global fans spellbound. Brock Lesnar, nicknamed "The Beast Incarnate", had establi/shed himself as a dominant WWE fighter since his decisive win over John Cena at Summer Slam 2014, demonstrating his star power and in turn becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The veteran old rivalry became passionate hatred and at its core Cena battled hard to get back his championship belt and to exorcise the reign of terror of Lesnar.

Seth Rollins (who at that moment had a monetary value in the Money in the Bank contract to take the title from another competitor) became a central figure in this saga. Rollins had put himself in line with The Authority, and had been a frustrating presence in Cena's orbit (in reality, Cena) to date.
