Survivor Series 2021: Roman Reigns vs. Big E

On November 21, 2021, WWE fans got what they deserved, a terrific show down in Brooklyn, NY, when the battle for Survivor Series took place on the Barclays Center. Headlines featured the main event of Big

Fight of Champion vs. Champion in which man Wins, WWE Champion Big E.battles the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. It was not just any bout to seize championship title belts, but to seize total control of the WWE universe.

 

The Build-Up

However, conflict between Big E and Roman Reigns had been a foregone conclusion for those months leading up to Survivor Series. Each of the men were individual brand masters champions in their own right for Raw and SmackDown. But with the finish line in sight the audience was united in its support for both athletes, with applause for their demonstration of both athleticism and character. As soon as it hit the mat, Reigns got his opening and delivered a Spear cleanly onto Big E, crashing Big E onto the mat and (1-2-3) to the finish. As well as setting the standard for Reigns as being the champion when his reigns begin which will not be ending but continuing and even rebuilding, after this received Reigns his status as the champion, WWE followed suit.
